2 or 3 Day International Training Clinic / Course Back
With Paul Fielder
Run in UK & Abroad
See calendar for dates.
The Goal:
Run in UK & Abroad
See calendar for dates.
The Goal:
To develop a learning situation in a friendly relaxed atmosphere, understanding all aspects of training.
Training the horse with an International way of going through a system of progressive exercises which the rider can follow.
To see Paul's students go to Picture Gallery
Due to the changing times and limited time constraints put on riders & training clinics I have come up with a new formula which I hope will be off interest to you all.
Today there is very little time for the rider to learn about the theory of riding in a lesson, and many times in a clinic the rider & trainer are unable to put aside their competitive instincts, too much time is spent on developing control of the horse and riding obedient tests, not enough time and understanding is spent on making the horse move with real impulsive power and suppleness. These courses have proved very popular both abroad & in the UK.
See below the list of subjects covered.

What I call the International way of going
This is what is needed if we are to achieve results at the top of the sport.
For the greater good and understanding of education time must be spent on explanation and discussion on the theory side.
Riders must have at least a minimum knowledge of horsemanship and theory not just the competitive commitment.
To be a serious contender in any sport today you have to be well versed in all aspects of the sport.
With this new formula I hope to be able to address some of these points which I hope will be of interest to you all and of great value.
The course is open to all riders and non riders alike it will involve working in groups sometimes with 2 trainers.

Approximate time table.
It would be preferable for as many riders as possible to bring their horses the afternoon before the course, and start to settle them in.
All riders will be responsible for their own horses. We cannot offer any livery service but we will provide stable bedding and hay if available and mucking out tools.
Electric hook up for those who are staying in their horse box and a list of local B&B or Hotels will be available.
Yard duties must be finished by 8.30am each day as we need to start the first riding by 9 am each day.
